When operating in environments with many variables, as in marine operations, risk must be assessed and managed efficiently. Graduates will examine the nature of space warfare theory, history, doctrine, and policy ; distinguish between the five JP defined Space Mission Areas Space Situational Awareness, Space Control, Space Support, Space Force Enhancement, and Space Force Application ; and interpret how current and planned space capabilities contribute to the satisfaction of these mission areas.

Attempt to develop controls for each hazard to eliminate the hazard or to reduce the risk. Graduates will assess key interactions between the various subsystems and their effects on system performance.

First area of interest is the inclusion of a recommended 90 day submission period for RMF packages. Graduates will examine the advanced concepts and technologies which could be used in future military space systems.

Check to ensure that the controls have the desired effect. Communicate hazards and intentions.

Graduates will examine the basic elements of mission operations — spacecraft commanding, payload management, anomaly resolution, orbital maneuver planning — and will apply these concepts during satellite and architecture design projects.

Air wing training is conducted an average of four times per year, and the SFTI course is conducted five times a year. Graduates will examine various engineering and mathematical definitions of cost functions revisit time, dwell time, local coverage, etc.

Graduates will examine the basic physics of orbital motion, and calculate and distinguish the parameters used in the description of orbits and their ground tracks.

Communicate to the right people. Graduates will examine the effects of the space, atmospheric, and terrestrial environments including countermeasures on sensor performance. Graduates will recognize the national and international issues involving use of the frequency spectrum and the relative priority and criticality of various segments of the frequency spectrum, and the space systems that employ them, to national defense.

Graduates will derive, assess, and articulate capabilities necessary for the use of National Security Space systems in support of military operations. Graduates will synthesize approaches to effectively advocate for space capabilities.

Graduates will calculate and analyze link budgets to assess communication system suitability to support mission requirements, and to translate mission requirements into communications system design characteristics. A mishap is expected to occur several times to an individual item or person, or continuously to a group.

We establish partnerships to deliver credit scoring seminars internationally for the SAS Institute. ORM recognizes that risk is inherent in Naval operations, and simply aims to minimize risk. The program is a process in which personnel identify and control hazards to maximize mission success.

To help Sailors deal with these uncertainties and risks, the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) has put together an informational package on Operation Risk Management (ORM) training on.

The term operational risk management (ORM) is defined as a continual cyclic process which includes risk assessment, risk decision making, and implementation of risk controls, which results in acceptance, mitigation, or avoidance of risk.
